Make Shift Happen Season 2: A Look At What’s Ahead
By Mia Reilly, Deputy Director, Tara Health Foundation, and Executive Producer, Make Shift Happen
In Season 1 of Make Shift Happen, we explored what it would take to do philanthropy differently. This season, we're looking straight at governance: how private foundations decide who holds power over the resources they steward, and what it would take to do that differently, too.
Season 2 features 12 conversations with trustees, foundation leaders, and organizers thinking honestly together about what deeper governance transformation requires. We heard about everything from redefining fiduciary duty, to the role of individual identity and the somatics of holding power.
The first full episode drops on October 15, 2026, followed by monthly releases over the coming year on Youtube and Spotify.
